Test the public page

Open your site while signed out of WordPress. Start with a page allowed by your display rules and a time allowed by the schedule. Open the launcher, select each channel and confirm the exact destination and any pre-filled text.

Repeat on a phone and desktop. Call, SMS and other app links depend on the applications installed on the visitor's device. A desktop with no compatible calling or messaging application may not handle the link like a phone does.

Test with the keyboard

Move through the page with Tab. Check the launcher's visible focus, activate it, move to a channel and use Escape to close the widget. The supplied JavaScript returns focus to the toggle when Escape closes it; confirm that your theme and other plugins preserve that behaviour.

Test long channel labels, browser zoom and a narrow viewport. Check that the widget does not cover submit buttons, bottom navigation or consent controls.

Understand email links

The Email channel opens an email link for the visitor's mail application. Floaty does not send that message through your WordPress SMTP configuration. Delivery, call completion and actual replies must be checked in the relevant contact service.
