Install Floaty on WordPress

Upload the supplied ZIP, activate Floaty and enable your first contact channel.

Install the package

Back up your WordPress site and use a staging copy for the first installation. Check the requirements and download guide.

In WordPress administration, open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
Choose floaty-1.0.0.zip, or the original floaty-floating-chat-contact-buttons.zip supplied for this release.
Select Install Now, then Activate Plugin.
Open Floaty in the administration sidebar.
On Channels, enable one channel, enter its contact detail and select Save Changes.
Open a public page and try the button.

All channels start disabled. Activating the plugin alone does not show a usable contact button. Upload the plugin ZIP itself; the publishing kit is reference material.

Confirm the result

Check while signed out as well as signed in. Verify the destination before enabling further channels. Your theme must include the normal WordPress footer hook, wp_footer, for Floaty's frontend to render.

The installer uses WordPress's plugin mechanism. No Orbit licence activation or ionCube Loader is required. If WordPress refuses the ZIP, preserve its error and confirm the archive name and upload permissions before retrying.
