What Floaty provides
Floaty adds floating chat and contact buttons to an existing WordPress website. Version 1.0.0 supports WhatsApp, Call, Email, SMS, Messenger, Telegram, Viber, Instagram and a custom link. Enable only the channels your business actually monitors.
Your WordPress administrator manages the plugin. Your Emaila Orbit account is used to download the ZIP; it does not give Orbit access to your WordPress administration. Floaty needs no paid activation key or connection to another Emaila product.
Your first setup
- Install the supplied plugin ZIP.
- Enable one channel and enter your own destination.
- Save and check a public page while signed out of WordPress.
- Try the button on the phones and desktop browsers your visitors use.
- Add appearance, schedule and page rules after the basic link works.
A button opens its configured destination or contact application. Floaty does not supply a staffed inbox, live-chat operator or third-party account. GPL v2 or later applies to the supplied plugin; hosting and contact services remain your responsibility.
