Version and availability
This reference describes Promotions and Coupons 1.3.1 from the reviewed current source. It needs the matching Promotions editor and marketing_campaigns_v1 core capability. A published base product or a numeric compatibility range alone does not supply those newer services. Install only the matching reviewed signed addon, separately from the older Marketing entry point.
This API-1 addon opens the validated Promotions workspace for campaign rules, coupon codes, initial hosting discounts and storefront popup content. It advertises marketing_campaigns_v1 to the core offer engine. The matching core update supplies the editor, eligibility checks, quote/reservation logic and popup rendering; the compatibility version alone does not supply those services.
Install the independently verified archive using the normal package installer, then enable the addon. No campaign, discount percentage, business identity, bank account or customer record is bundled. Administrators choose the percentage, initial-order eligibility, hosting scope, new-domain requirement, business/storefront targets and popup schedule in Promotions.
The new-domain rule pairs hosting with its newly registered domain and checks prior domain, service and order history. Existing customers can qualify for a genuinely new order when new-customer-only is disabled. Registration, transfer and renewal prices remain governed by the selected campaign scope; hosting-only campaigns leave domain prices unchanged. Recurring service prices are never rewritten.
Actions campaigns and status expose the workspace and safe counts to staff with marketing.manage. legacy_summary reads the count of old coupon records without modifying or migrating them. This package has no migrations and performs no customer order, settlement, provider, registry or mail action. Existing legacy coupon records and redemption history remain intact.
