Set your seller identity
In the System workspace, confirm the legal seller, business address, contact details, invoice settings, policies, currencies and canonical URLs. Review the displayed storefront and invoice before issuing real documents.
Open System → Multi Country/Multi Brand to configure brands and storefronts. A brand can have global or country-specific storefronts, its own logos, products, policies, mail routes and payment connections. Storefronts begin inactive; ownership, routing and HTTPS checks must pass before activation.
Preserve billing ownership
Orders, invoices, services and queued mail retain their issuing brand/storefront. Issued invoices preserve their seller details in a snapshot; later branding edits do not rewrite that history. If staff create an order or invoice for another permitted seller, review the selected seller and currency before saving.
Shared customer-account settings affect which brands an existing customer can use. They do not transfer ownership of issued records.
Configure staff access
Create named local staff accounts, assign the required permissions and complete their security setup. Business and System access are separate. An operator who manages SMTP does not automatically need access to customer tickets or orders.
Check a restricted staff account on staging, including pages and actions it should not access. Keep recovery codes and credentials outside shared documents. The installation's staff identity remains independent of your Orbit purchase account.
