Inventory and live details
Open Business → Domains with domain visibility. A record links its owner, seller/storefront, domain billing service and registrar connection. Creating a local record does not register a name. Opening its staff/customer workspace requests a fresh registrar read when available; failed/limited refreshes keep the last confirmed values labelled as saved data.
The panel shows registration/expiry dates, nameservers and provider-reported lock/privacy state. Availability is a different operation from account ownership. A publicly registered name is not proof that it belongs to the configured registrar account.
Registration and transfer
Before Register, the preflight checks the active owning customer, open record, correct paid pending domain service, original registrar, enabled writes, no previous/uncertain purchase, fresh nonpremium availability, requested term, contacts and nameservers. Correctly linked unpaid services cannot bypass payment. The durable marker is written before submission. An uncertain request cannot be made safe by editing the local status or renaming the record.
Transfer additionally needs the actual authorisation code and the intended existing DNS. Some source modules require registrar-specific contact handles or registry options. Enter them only through the documented Provider options for that exact module; never put a real transfer code into a public example.
Renewal and management
A paid renewal still requires matching domain/billing identity, supported term, provider write/automation permission and confirmed expiry advancement. Lock/unlock, privacy and nameserver actions appear only when supported by that module. Locks can have provider-specific scope; Dreamscape's lock can block general updates, not only transfer.
EPP retrieval is a protected request supported by the verified legacy NameSilo/ResellerClub adapters and only by newer packages that explicitly expose it. A code is displayed through the private protected result or confirmed as sent to the registrant; it is excluded from normal refresh/audit data. Other providers may require an assisted dashboard/support workflow.
Recovery
Keep the same registrar mapping after a submitted purchase and read it back before another operation. A mismatched billing link displays a review instead of another domain's invoice controls.
