Build the catalogue

Create the intended categories and products. Add explicit prices for every billing term and currency you offer, then review descriptions, resource limits, variations and addons as a customer.

Confirm the legal seller, invoice numbering, currency, tax policy and customer-facing policies first. Do not reuse example identities, resource descriptions or prices as your business configuration.

Decide how each product is delivered

Hosting products require an explicit automatic or manual fulfilment decision. A server connection being reachable is not enough to establish the exact package, ownership, DNS or provisioning capability.

The fresh-install core does not include activated payment, hosting-server or registrar plugins. Install reviewed compatible modules and configure your own provider accounts. See provider preparation.

Rehearse the first order

On staging, follow product selection, cart changes, registration/sign-in, invoice creation, verified payment handling and the expected fulfilment stage. Check the saved seller, currency, quantity and billing term throughout.

A return URL or browser approval is not a settled payment. Pending payment must not create active delivery merely because the browser reaches a success-looking page.

Keep checkout closed until the intended merchant, mail, scheduler, provider and recovery checks pass for this installation. Orbit's product page does not prove that those services are configured on your host.
