Prepare bank and cash accounts
Use Banking → Bank & cash accounts to review the accounts available to your assigned business and role. Give financial users access only to the accounts they need. Check currencies, opening information and the business context before entering transactions.
Use the intended transaction, receipt, expense or transfer workflow for the event. Financial entries and approvals remain subject to the saved transaction policy; viewing an account does not authorise every posting action.
Reconcile against the statement
Open Banking → Bank reconciliation when your role permits it. Select the correct account and reconciliation period. Compare the saved entries with actual bank or cash evidence, investigate missing or duplicate entries and use the available reconciliation controls deliberately.
A successful gateway redirect is not a bank statement or a verified receipt. Check payment-request outcomes and invoice allocation before treating a balance as settled. Resolve uncertain provider results before attempting another collection.
Review reports and historical evidence
Use the available Reports entry and account statements for the selected business. Check the period, currency and filters before exporting or sharing a report. The product also supports authorised consolidation and cross-business audit views; their visibility depends on your grants.
Reports reflect the saved transactions and policies. Review unresolved approvals, pending payments and reconciliation differences with the responsible financial user. An exported report is not a substitute for the full database, keys and document backup.
